Our monthly Blogger/Author Pairings series features a noted literary blogger hosting a book or author that they are passionate about. Amanda ReCupido’s blog The Undomestic Goddess discusses feminist issues, and author Marie Mutsuki Mockett has been a guest contributor. Mockett’s novel Picking Bones From Ash explores the struggles women face in accepting their talents in a multi-generational story of mothers and daughters. ReCupido and Mockett will discuss fiction, feminism, and more in the latest installment of our lively discussion series. The discussion will be introduced by series curator Ron Hogan, creator of the blog Beatrice.
